so what is the procedure for adjusting the tension? isee the noches and the bar but i dont know how toadjust it, there are 3 notches, it sinthe middle notch, then above that there is a hook holdignt he bar and thenit curves and goes on to the higne onthe other side, there seems to be too much tension to get the bar out of that hook and i cant move the things without getting it out of thehook so how do i do it without it springing otu and killing me?

It'* really strong, and if you let it it could rip whatever tool you have in your hands clean out, But I did it with a pair of channel-lock pliers. Move them towards the front of the car. Oh, and have somebody hold the trunk up.

hell ill just wait till next week, boss lets us bring our cars in toworkon after hours, i got the tools there to do it easily
