Default Mechanics...They never listen

Ok.. many of you know my car is getting struts soon. All 4, I bought the strut mounts/bearings at the same time. With 150K on the car...why put the new struts on and have the old bearing go bad right after.

Also I have a cat to weld in.

Been helping my buddy Dan the mechanic a bit lately.. I spoke to him before about doing the work and he'* good with it.

Conversation a few minutes ago was that we are finishing up a motor job tonight, and I'll leave my car with him.
To do the struts, and catalytic. Before he also said if I couldn't find this issue my car is having to drop off a manual and the car....he'd figure it out.

Struts, mounts and cat are in teh trunk. FSM'* will be on the front seat....lol

Let'* see how good he is...

Then he says to me... all four struts???? Geez..
I think he forgot the part where I told him about everything.

PS, if he'* a "mechanic", is there any reason he'd need the book for struts and cat??? Seems pretty straight forward to me.

Just hope Dan doesn't begin the work on your car at 2:00 a.m. after you guys get the that motor dropped in. Are you "assisting" Dan with the struts/cat/P0171 work....or are you just gonna watch?

We wouldn't do easy work til the middle of the night. I'm sure that'll be a tomorrow or Monday type of thing. As for the codes and issues...I'm sure it'* going to take a few minutes for him to find this one.
