Check and see if the ELC system works...
Check to see if it has the Dual zone climate control and if it works...
It may have the Full power seats( minus lumbar )... Make sure that works...
Check the oil and see how it looks... Also pop off the oil cap, look in and see if its Black as tar... It takes a lot for an L27 to turn the inside of an engine black... If this is the case it has had no oil changes..
Check the tranny fluid... Pink, Brownish, Brown, Brownish black or just plain black... Friend has a 91-92 Park Ave and 170k on the original everything.... Still runs great...
Just check the basics.... And I know if you need parts you can get them...lol

I had one of those, mine was 93 Ultra.
Problems I had
1, When it would rain I would lose power to the seats and mirrors(I think).
2, When I would first start the car it wouldn't go into gear for a few seconds to minutes, it depended on how could it was out.
3, The oil gauge would read off the scale on occasions, very very High and sometimes very low.
4, Gas gauge also would read wrong, It would say your outta gas when your not.
5, Motor mount went bad standing in front of car drivers side
6, Harmonic balancer went bad and was noisey
7, Supercharger also made noise
8, Trunk seal leaked
9, Make sure the A/C works, mine had a replacement compressor in it.
10, I had trouble passing emissions once do to knocks I believe.
That'* about all I can remember. I had the car from 130K - 160K aside from those problems it was a great car, Good luck with getting it.

It would help if you posted what you were looking at bud

There is definately some ELC wrong-doings going on. The lighting issues could be the ground bus or a bad rewire for the trailer hitch. And the interior pieces you can find anywhere, esp. Orlando.

looking at it now the park ave is larger than the bonnie. i guess. what other differences are there between the two. i'd rather have a bonnie but the only one i can find is $800 for a '94 and it'* white.
Most differences are body related, door trim and crap. There'* some engine bracetry differences. You'll want an FSM as the options are wired crazy.
Id take it if it passes the prelim. Check out the bottom end and see if that'* a broken coil or blown struts in the back. Loss of power is probably ignition.

I know it'* late, but what I've had commonly with early 90'* park aves (I've had 4, loved them all!) Is that the front rotors seemed to be undersized for the weight they were stopping. Every one of them warped the fronts.... aside from that and the 'no power when wet' doors, they all were great mechanically!

well i made the offer of a recording amp, which he happily agreed to, however someone made a higher cash offer. so the car was sold.
the good news... he still wants the amp.
