Default Hi everyone looking for help for a 1995 Park Ave.

Hi folks, I recently had a 1998 Buick Park Ave. it was a great car. It had 219,000 miles on it and was still running when I sold it and got my 1995 Park Ave. Although the 1995 is 3 years older it has 70,000 less miles and everything works on it at least everything did until the other day. The heater on my car quite working the way it should, I have no control over it, after a few minutes after starting the car the heater/blower comes on and when it comes on it is in high speed and I can not change it. It is a digital readout, some of the button lights on the heater works but the digital display readout does not light where it displays the temperature setting and the outside temperature. Pushing any of the buttons on the heater has no effect. I had this happen on a 1999 Buick Regal but don't know what they did to fix it as it was under warranty. I have searched the internet to see if I could find out anything and I came up with possibly a bad blower motor resistor or a module. Not sure what is wrong or if this is something that I could repair. Any help appreciated. Thanks! Steve.
