windows that dont work
burnt out fog lights
steering shaft noises (noises when turning steering wheel)
corrosion problems on the hood (alluminum)..I'm not sure if GXPs had this problem but worth a look anyway

Well, I bought the car today. It is getting safetied right now and i get to pick it up in a couple hours. The reason the safety is taking so long is because the water pump has a very small leak and they are replacing it. I never seen anything under the car though. Is this a normal proplem on these cars?

Jarvis:
I have an 04 SLE and the only problems I have had was the DIC went south, one of the trunk springs broke and the drivers door switch pod switches would not operate the front passenger window. All parts were replaced under warranty. I currently have 35K on the clock.

I keep waiting for the dreaded steering shaft clunk and the window regulator problem but so far no issues.

The paint is holding up with no issues other than rock dings from driving the car.

This is my second Bonneville and if Pontiac brings them back I would buy a third. So far it has been a very reliable car.
