It'* just 4 bolts bud, you could do it in the driveway in 10 minutes if you knew the bolt sizes...

But a lift is nice!

$300 USD. The guy custom builds it to your specifications, and you get it in two weeks. I just told him it goes to a stock exhaust.

Bonneville'* don't need the downpipe, they have a straight one from the factory. It'* why GP'* are rated lower in power.

:?: :?:

Bonnevilles have downpipes. It'* the pipe that goes from the rear manifold to the catalytic converter, there is also an integrated flex coupler at the manifold flange.

Cheers,

we dont have the u-bend, thats why we have 5hp more.

You could do it with blocks probably if you wanted to.

Yes but a larger one will gain anything, Sol'* car (GTP) has a U bend, so he'* getting rid of that.

You had a GP before

Sol, for even better flow look at enlarging the Y-pipe if you ever switch out mufflers. I think that the Y pipe is only 2 inch diameter.

I'm gonna leave the rest of the exhaust how it is. You really don't need to change it unless you are running 12'*. The downpipe/cat is installed now. I took it on the freeway to test it out. Everything runs a lot smoother now. It'* not a huge difference, but I can see the engine running a lot better at higher RPM'*.
