Default LIM 36 to 26

Is there a difference. I'm getting 26 UIM for my bonne. I'm getting the lower too. Should I keep the match or doesn't matter. The reason being I have a guy lined up to by my extra lower. But I don't want to rip the top part off my engine just yet. I will send him the 26 if there is no difference at all between the 36 and 26 lowers. I will be porting both so if that makes them more the same let me know. Thanks
Justin.
