You've got TONS of life left in her. I've seen several 3800s at the auction with well over 300,000 miles.

I scraped out my 87 when it had 246,000. Body was SEVERELY rusted out.

Sold the 93 when it had 179,000. Was time to move on.

Our 99 has 151,000 and still purs like a kitten. We'll be keeping the 99 around for another 100,000 at least.

Keep up on the maintenance items (oil changes) and you'll be fine.

The engine will last a long time, but everything else will start to go as the car gets old.

My Bonnie was at almost 200K before I sold it. It started to have suspension problems, some electrical issues, etc. Things just get old and wear out, but the motor will keep going.

It really all depends on the condition of your particular car.

Mechanically..if it'* sound and you keep up... why would it ever totally die.

Body wise.. if there'* no real rust.. it should go a good long time.

I'm about to drive across the country from one coast to another in a 97 with 155K (about that time) on the clock. Body is solid and shows no signs of rust..engine is purring like a kitten after a good drink of milk.
