Good technical information here.

I found a site not too long ago by searching that showed a cutaway of a CCR strut. It clearly showed valving.

Ohhh okay so that pretty much cleared up my confusion as to why Bill was posting about somehting he no longer had as an option on his car Rolling Eyes

???? Both Bill'* in this topic have working CCR and ELC.

I thought I heard Bill (boost) tell me that he replaced his CCR with non CCR struts. Boosty saw my CCR wiring under my hood coming from the strut and I believe thats when I thought he told me. I guess I misunderstood.

Last I heard, he found replacement new CCR'* to go in. I might be mistaken.

Travis found replacement CCR'*..
I replaced my CCR'* with Monroes.

I replaced my CCR'* with Monroes.
correct, I had a torn boot on a rear strut (wouldn't hold air because of it). Found a 98 donor with working ccr and air, replaced all 4 of my struts.
