Problem solved.
i was cleaning up the trunk getting ready for my system project. and i was taken some measurements and i come across. a crazy *** tube with a plastic end. just chillen there back by the right wheel well. so i investigate and see that there is a rubber grounment that it is supposed to be stuck into. and i noticed that there is one on the driver side as well. at the same spot. so im guessing these are the drains for the sun roof and who ever said it was right they were jammed with ice but i blew it out. where it when i dont know but its not in the tube.
so that sovles that. just an over look. i prolly pulled it out when i was messing with my amp that is on that side.
now i only hope the amp is ok. it was running on pertect for a while now i know why.
shoul dhave checked it out a long itme ago.

I've been looking and it only seems that 2000 +'* are posting trunk leaks. I have a 92 SSEi and am getting the same problems. Not only is there water in the spare tire area and completely soaked carpets, there was a lot of water under the cloth-like cover that goes under the lid of the trunk, so I thought it was leaking through the spoiler, but maybe it'* the weather seal stuff that people have been talking about too. It looks like the owners before me have attempted to seal it as well, because i see a lot of old silicone.
