does the L 36 upper and lower fit on a L26 .i think so because i did see a L26 upper on a L36 on a other site

The LIM is different too.

Sounds like you need to join a Forum that has both drivetrains. The Bonneville never got the L26.

for what its worth, its not worth the swap imo. i have the L26 in my 04 GP GT and i personally like driving my moms 97 GP GT with the L36 alot better. Seems a lil peppier and sounds more aggressive. Now don't get me wrong. I really like my car, its just not as responsive as hers.
