Default Just a FYI for people with bigger tires....

Befor with my old wheels and tires at 60MPH on speedo i was gong 60MPH on GPS
(205x75 R15)

Now with my new wheels and tires at 60MPH on speedo im going 63MPH on GPS.
(235x55 R17)


Just so people know and they dont get a speeding ticket when they think there going close to the speed limite.

Spped limite? I noticed after we did a car one time, we put 17s on a 14 inch car and it had a significant difference.

If you carefully choose your sizes, you won't have that problem.

There are calculators that will suggest the right rolling diameter out there. We also had this posted in Techinfo for a long time, but the old calculator page died.

yeah but if i went with a size that made it so my speedo didn't change then the ties would be shorter and not look as good. and i wanted a side wall the size i have cuz the roads in NY are really bad.

with the stock tires on mine i got 3 under the speed limit on radar by the cops. i think i'm gonna go bigger once i can order brakes at the same time

At what speed?

My change from 225/60/16 to 235/55/17 was about about 1-2 mph at 60mph.
