That is the same thing I was going to say. I don't think I would ever want a red car just for that reason. I try to avoid the law as much as possible.
That'* a false fact anyways. The reason why red is pulled over more is because a higher percent of sports cars are red and a higher percent of sports car drivers like to ...umm...drive fast.

PJ!!!

Thats deffinatley not true!!!

Besides we already have one girl riding a red beauty, I just thought a girlie in a dark cherry metallic would balance it!
Ahh...you have a point.....

Uh...PJ I believe you both are saying the same think differently.

Red, Black, and yellow are pulled over more often because they are usually the sports car colors and because the cops know to look out for them because... they are usually speeding.

When I had my 91 GA...oh yeah...a GA, it was black and 4 door. A true Mommy mobile if you ever saw one. As I passed a cop coming the other way, he'd always hit the brakes getting ready to come after me. Not because I was capable of speeding, but because it was black and was always shiny clean. Somewhere in the brakes he'd realize .."that was a mom mobile" and keep on going. In actuallity the car had the indestructible 2.5 motor that was never known for anything but reliability.

That is sad to hear..........

Finally a DCM '99 rolling on chrome makes it'* way to a family and just to be shrugged off for an older "Lady"........

There is nothing wrong with having a "Stable" if the other one is free and clear!!!

I think it would be fitting to post some mad whorage before she is handed off to another!!!!!!!

WHORAGE................WHORAGE............WHORAGE! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mmm... Red 94 SSEi... Not sure why you are selling the 99 to get a 94, but out of the color choices, Red would be at the top of my list.

Mainly to get my parts money/labor back out of it so I can afford to keep going to school :( It'* as close to a "job" as I'll have until I graduate. No time for anything other than tinkering on minor things to make someone else a nice vehicle I've honestly never picked a vehicle because of a color (and I've had over 20 now)

Yeah, I already have a "stable" ... 91 Cavalier with manual everything :P That'* going too. Tuition increases (7%?) suck.

Not at all. Sad, isn't it? I am, however, stealing a 6.5 turbo diesel to move back to school :p *cough* Not power hungry. I just don't like the white 5.0 gas guzzler! Honest!

Will be mad drooling and some whoreage when I'm done with this babysitting crap and get back home. These kids don't need a sitter, but it'* free money for me *cackle* Plus, I get to make them play racing games, which keeps me from getting a speeding ticket

As far as the color thing goes, I've been pulled over in a black GA doing 67 (no ticket), and in my red Cavvy (broken tail light, and that was ALL dad'* fault for messing my tape job up, no ticket there either). I also drive like a granny because I can't afford tickets or insurance increases

I just hope whoever gets her next drives her like she'* meant to be driven.

Alright, I'm out for the night since dialup sucks. Time to go drive around in 90+ degree sunny bliss with the sunroof open! I don't make gas money for nothing <- Picking the kids up from their dad'*
