Wooooo Wooo
New motor is in the back of the truck. MD said it looks like an 8 out of 10. Which is saying quite a bit for it. Now I have to pay him for the piston rings (back a way) and the tax on the extra.
I hope the blazer makes it back to my place..lol (mechanic'* vehicle..ya know)

Hah, if this one dies too, I would seriously evaluate what you've done REALLY wrong in your life. And make up for it. Start with some...volunteer work...like...you can fix my car.
Good luck on this one...we'll see.

John...I've done a little "volunteer" work in my life.. Took care of three family members for years.
This motor looks great inside... being that I'll only be working in the eveings...It'll take a little time to get it in....although I barely need to refer to the FSM for torque specs anymore. Socket selection is automatic and programmed into my hands.

If you don't learn how to perform the work..all I'm doing is ensuring future work for myself.
I'd much rather teach you to fish than give you one of my fish.
