And Bill, nice job on the low mileage motor. Hopefully this one will do the trick and you will be back up and running again!! If all else fails, your just going to have to cut out the floorpans and go Flintstone style.....it would be unique, plus you still get a title...........of the slowest 97 on the club!! hehehe........

You ironed out wrinkles..???? Good to hear "Saggy Butt" is running good. :P
The motors are virtually unchanged except for an oil pan from 98-03. It'* all the same motor. Merely a better oil pan and filter adapter. I like not getting oil on the subframe (or would that require me to have it running?)
