lol the SES comes on now and then when random crap dies. The nice thing about OBD 1 is the flash feature. The only light that would really concearn me on the road is the "oil" light, that usually is a count down until your engine turns into a solid chunk of iron!

Many of you probably already know this, but I think I should post it anyway. Maybe it will help someone out.
If your check engine light ever does come on, and you have determined that it is the gas cap...or another no problem kind of problem, but the light doesn't turn off there is still hope. If you turn your car onto run, but don't start it, then unplug the battery, it resets the light. I think you have to wait for like 15 seconds, then hook the battery back up.
The light should go out, but if there is a serious problem, it should come back on.
Maybe some day that will save someone the $60 that some places charge just to hook your car up to their computer. But I do realize some of you do have computers that you can hook up.
