I have never really noticed this before but since I am looking at going with a dual setup on my 90 SSE, I have been checking out stock looks on the bonnies. I then noticed Rogues sig pic and he has dual mufflers on it.

My question is when did they go from the single center mount muffler to the dual muffler setup??

Just curious and was not sure if any one else has asked themselves the same question.

I think it was the 2000 remake when they did it, I think the 92-99 all have single mufflers with dual outs.

i would agree, im not sure ive seen dual mufflers before 00 unless it was custom.

I thought the ssei'* were duals and the se'* were single in any year?

The SSEi'* were dual out but only one muffler mounted in the center. I am pretty sure also that it was after 2000 that they went to 2 actual mufflers in stead of the one muffler dual out.
