I found out from GMC that I only have a LIM. I don't have an upper UIM. So it will be alot easier to change. I have the older model of the 3800 V6 series. My intake manifold is all one piece. Thought I would pass on this info.

I thought it would be helpfull. I also noticed that the oil leak it all threw the backside of the LIM near the throttle body assembly. I will replace it with in the next few months. I am trying to get other things done to it so it will pass inspection to retag it. I half to replace the motor and transmission mounts, New Tires and a Muffler. After that I will tend to the UIM gasket. I will see if my friend will help me replace it since he has been helping me with all the other work to my car.
What year is your car? None of the setups are truly one piece, I've heard of the older ones being able to be pulled apart as one piece instead of two. But there is a gasket between two portions of manifold.

Mine is an 89 Olds. Delta 88 Royale Brougham. Hear is the link to the gasket set I need for my year of car. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...keyword=valley. I will be getting threw O'Reilly Auto Parts.
Gotcha..I was thinking Series 1 (92-94). I remember seeing a 90 engine and that was a two gasket thing.. although some of those older ones may have been a one piece. Won't that be nice
