Well, for the ones that dont know, it doesn't just depend on your age and car...most monitor the following:
Age
Gender
Night Parking Status (Garage, Carport, Street, etc)
Geographical Location (if you're in a city or country, what the local crime rates are, accident statistics, etc)
Specific Vehicle Statistics (Avg of accidents for that type of vehicle)
Engine Size and/or Induction type
Type of insurance (private/pleasure, commuter (distance variable), or business)
policyholder'* credit rating
name on registration and title
etc
Then theres the discounts, such as...
Multiple Vehicle Policy
Engine Immobilizer (Active or Passive security system)
Active or passive restraint
Airbags (front, front side, front side curtain, rear side, rear side curtain, knee, etc)
etc etc depending upon the company
then of course, your deductibles, coverage levels, etc.
just a little info for the ones who wonder. those who know, correct me if i'm wrong :P

While I have two supercharged cars, please remember that I'm 40, I get out of all my 'pullovers', (nothing on the record in the last 7 years), and I am the only insured driver on my policy. Which means I can't drive both cars at the same time.
The 93 is insured with a discount as a 'project car' with under 2500 miles a year.

I've had the best luck by staying away from the big companies, when I bought my bonne, it was on a Saturday and my insurance was closed, but after I signed the papers I called geico for a quote, and it was 290 a month, full coverage. I done shat myself right there in the dealership. I got ahold of my agent that monday, he said it would be like 115/month, and when I turned 23 it went down to like 55/month, full coverage.
BTW, I'm with country companies under a farm policy.
