SSEi'* have different mufflers too, correct? (Single in, dual out?) The muffler configuration might make a difference. Think about if you blow air through a tube, then blow alot more air, it makes more noise. Same principle with the exhausts. It could also be that the ppl with SCed engines rev it alot more

I bet Rogue/Pontiac Dad had the loudest when they had everything behind their headers off.

Loudest Bonneville, probably, loudest car on this forum, I HIGHLY doubt it. I'm sure there are probably a few people on here that have other cars that are louder. (like V8'* with straight pipes and suck)

The GTP sounds MEAN AS HELL with open headers, especially at WOT (where it would be louder than Rouge/PontiacDad). You would bet large sums of money it was a V8 if you didn't know any better.

SSEi95'* is one of the loudest Modified L67 with full 3" tubing, and the only thing on it is a big chrome wide open magnaflow. Bonneville atleast.

Otherwise the MP112 GTP i saw was easily the loudest 'modern' car i've heard. Rice not withstanding.

SSE'* have exactly the same factory exhaust, including muffler.

You would think the loudest car i have heard was the turbo car on the dyno in an enclosed room with no exhaust. Surprisingly however, it was Wes Blair'* gp gt with no exhaust on the headers on the dyno in an enclosed room. It could be that it just took longer for the GT to climb through second gear then the turbo car but let me tell you my ears rung for a bit after that. I have not heared mine without the exhaust but i'm betting that if Jim took off his exhaust his would be pretty loud (deep).
