I Need Advice
Wassup guys i recently heard that that Ford Thunderbird has also a 3.8engine in it but it was more foot pounds or torque than the bonneville ssei and i was wondering what are some good tips to make the ssei'* faster i have a 1993 thats runs great but i was also wondering does having fresh supercharger fluid have anything to do wit the acceleration
An SSEi will hand a Thunderbird it'* *** on a silver platter, and SC oil will add no performance. It prevents wear in the bearings and gears of the nosedrive. Nothing else. If you don't know how old it is, change it. Procedure is in Techinfo.

Don't ask...
My parents had a 96 or 97 T-Bird...3.8 RWD...seemed a LOT slower than my L27 at the time. It didn't drive nearly as nice either! The L27 was so much smoother. Of course, as stated, it'* a totally different engine.
96 T-bird: 145 HP @ 4,000 rpm; 215 ft lb @ 2,750 rpm
