I know what a SE and a SLE and a SSEi is, but what is a SSE?

the SSE was just like a SSEI with out the */C except for years 92-93. Most SSE'* are loaded with all the options, and then there a few that are striped down like SSESC93'* white car

SSE'* are the mid-bonnie, with the more aggressive body style from 92-99. SSEi'* share the SSE'* bodystyle always (until 00 changed over to SLE) same thing though. 98-99? SLE'* also could posses the SSE body style; 00 SSE disappeared (why )
and 04? was the last year for the SLE/SSEi body style. Now it'* just SE and GXP bodystyles avalible for this last years lineup.
Some people think bonnies took a dramatic change in 00; The design IMO is closely re-made of the 92-99 series.

They've probably been slowly fazing out the trim levels for the bonne'* due to the now known eventual demise of the bonneville. It seems to be GM'* m.o. before they cut something out, they take away options, trim levels and stuff. RIP Oldsmobile
