I know what a SE and a SLE and a SSEi is, but what is a SSE? - Page 2 - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

General GM Chat When starting new posts, please specify YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE type, and whatever modifications you have made. Chat about all things GM (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the Lounge, and all Model specific mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

the SSE was just like a SSEI with out the */C except for years 92-93. Most SSE'* are loaded with all the options, and then there a few that are striped down like SSESC93'* white car

its really hard to descrbe typing, easier to explain in person.....lol

SSE'* are the mid-bonnie, with the more aggressive body style from 92-99. SSEi'* share the SSE'* bodystyle always (until 00 changed over to SLE) same thing though. 98-99? SLE'* also could posses the SSE body style; 00 SSE disappeared (why )
and 04? was the last year for the SLE/SSEi body style. Now it'* just SE and GXP bodystyles avalible for this last years lineup.

Some people think bonnies took a dramatic change in 00; The design IMO is closely re-made of the 92-99 series.

They've probably been slowly fazing out the trim levels for the bonne'* due to the now known eventual demise of the bonneville. It seems to be GM'* m.o. before they cut something out, they take away options, trim levels and stuff. RIP Oldsmobile
