Usually, it's got most of the goodies and trim of an SSEi, sometimes all of them, like my SSE SC.

Yep. From 92-93 and back again in 96-97 these years the SSE had the Supercharged option

SSE was top of the line in 88-91. After that there were a few SSE's offered with the supercharger, but not many. It's pretty much a Bonne with most of the goodies, but usually no S/C. If you are unsure, just look under the hood or check the RPO's for L67.

what's the point of having an SSE model with the s/c option? cheaper than having the extra "i" on the emblem?

My thoughts exactly.....maybe sleeper value? :D

With the S/C option you could get the car with less other options, but with the S/C if you truely wanted. There was an SSE by me a while ago that had cloth, power driver's seat, no roof, hud, or bose, just cassette with the Gold wheels. Seems like someone just liked the looks of the body trim. Now that with a S/C would have been fun.

Sounds like my car ;)

The SSE you're talking about has a manual passenger seat though? :o
