nice job, if i still had my bonneville, id tap that stock tape deck, the buttons on mine quit responding and it was stuck on 3/4 volume on a local radio station!
How'* the volume switch on that cassette player? I have the factory CD player from my car that has a broken one. I'd like to fix it and put it in the 90 or my wife'* Grand Am.
I don't want to steal your thread so if anyone has changed the volume switches in these radios, I'd like to hear from you. Please PM rather than hijack.
Thanks.

I also have a cassette player at home suffering from the same volume switch problem. Let me take it apart and see if I can use ti to fix the CD player. If the two switches are compatible, I'll take it. I'll need a few hours to get to it.
Do you have the switch that doesnt turn all the way around? Is so, thats the switch i have. If you twist it to the right the volume goes up. If you twist it to the left the volume go down. It doesnt make a full 360* turn like the others. Also it has the Cr2o thingy with the prev and next buttons and the 5 band eq. Push button mute, push button seek, etc.
