I recently just lost my beloved Bonneville SSEi do to a car accident. Unable to find another supercharged Bonneville with good miles and reasonable condition, I purchased a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Comp G thinking it would be the same, I was severely mistaken. This car is a lot smaller and lacks certain luxuries of my Bonneville i.e. memory seats, memory mirrors, and sunroof. It has accelerates more like an import instead of an American made car also I hate the wide track system it'* the worse. Does any know how I can make this Grand Prix ride and fell more like a Bonneville?
not really a easy thing to do..there two different bodies with different suspensions..the only thing they share is the engine and trans
the Bonneville is a H body and the GP is a W body...should have done your homework a bit im sorry to say
not a bad looking grand prix though! id hit it

Can you describe how is "accelerates like an import" better? Do you mean that it lacks power almost? Or does it sound different?

I stepped out of a Park Ave into a LaCrosse and it wasn't long before I decided it was a mistake. HAd the car 7 months and got a decent trade up to the GXP. Yes, I believe the Comp G is much stiffer than norm and would make the "ride" that much more different than a Bonne. Softer springs is about the best you can do. Do any GP'* have ELC?
i do have to agree with the softer springs..and maybe some better shocks/struts vs the stockers
as far as your ELC question V..ive never came across a 04+ GP with an ELC..but in all fairness im more experienced with 03 and older than i am 04+..
i doubt it though..GPs have always felt cheaper than any other pontiac in its class IMO..

It accelerates smooth and it doesn't give you that quick jump like with the bonneville'*. I totally forgot about the different platforms I just assumed that it was smaller version of the bonnievilles with a newer engine and the surprising fact is that I'm getting better gas mileage. Right now it'* in the shop getting a new frame, shocks and struts, you might as well say a newer from end so it can fell more like a bonnie. The Comp G does have the does have a different suspension than the other Grand Prixs maybe I should have gotten a G8.
