Let me get on topic I strayed away...

I got a lot of knowledge from a few people when it comes to cars... But the First Buick I ever knew anything about was Dads 3.0 Buick Century... First year for the FWD Century with Computer Command Control... It had the electronic Carb and all right down to the O2 sensor.... It was a very shady beast at best... It was a nice car but was totally powerless, and had too many issues which is why you never buy a car in its first year of production..

Later I had a neighbor that Had a Boat, it was a Sea Ray with an I/O 3.8 OMC Buick V6... On the water that think would easily spin 5 grand all day long... Loved it to death...

Then my good friends dad bought an 87 Bonneville with the Buick 3.8 HO.... Man that thing was a torquer... Loved the Burgundy color, and the SFI distributorless system... I read everything I could get my hands on regaurding that 3.8, which in 88 was replaced with the 3800.... So I have been into these engines For a long time... Then I bought 2 of my own... I knew about the 3800 II for 95, I wanted one but it had to be in a Bonneville... A little too expensive for me at the time... About 3 years later I bought a 95 with that 3800 II... Its about 8 years later and I still drive that car...

I knew a good bit when I came here... But over the course of the 3 years here, I have learned a good bit from all of the members here... There is always something new to be learned..
