I do get to the mark every now and again... But I usually watch it and let it shift out of first at about 5700 if I'm in a pissy mood... My car with no performance shift will hit redline if I hold it to the floor.. If I'm doin some stompin... I usually let shift at 40-43 mph... Anymore I try to keep it under 5000 Rpms though...

The 91 is a diffrent story... It gets to its redline too easy... Its scarry... I hit about 6300-6500 with it once... Though I was going to kill it.. I saw the needle burried in the red and almost died... I have seince adjusted the TV cable back up a bit to have the trans shift a little early.. It also takes more to achive first gear.. I think I hit too hard though and it readjusted to it original posistion... I don't floor this car anymore, valve train won't take the abuse....
Hmm... 6500 RPM on a car with a readline of what 5300 RPM??? sounds like you were trying to test the big bang theory...

Yes, just hit it from a stand still and teach him about that V6 torque... I was the other way around.... I'd tell my friend to wear his seat belt and he refused all of the time.. I then stompped the gas hard as hell.. and then said have some dash and slammed on the breaks... H ehit the dash, kinda hard...LOL After that he always wore the seat belt... Don't try this BTW.....
That’* great, but not as good as what my mom did once in her Aerostar(spelling) van. My cousin never wore his seatbelt. the middle seat was removed and he was sitting on the rear bench. she was like "Hey Rickey", he was like "Yea?", she at that point slammed on the breaks wile going about 45 MPH, he fly’* up and catches himself on the two front seats, then my mom said "Put your seat belt on..." immediately after which she slammed on the gas

When I got my car it shifted at 4800 rpms... When I removed Silencer Module and added K&N... It raised to 5000 rpms... 5000 rpms is the highes it will let me go.... Though when I race i put it in Drive.. (NOT OVER DRIVE) and when I get to 3rd Gear I was apporaching 5300 rpm'* and I didnt even notice.. I was about 93mph.
