I try not to if I can avoid it, I did tonight, but 5200 RPM is a rarity, the trans usually changes gears on me before i get close. Plus I never mash the gas pedal, it'll squeal to easy.

Never, even with nitrous in first gear it still shifts before redline. I'm glad too.

I'm willing to admit that I'm the guy who voted 3-5 times a day! I love to race! I have a nice collection of photo radar tickets to prove it too! Good thing my wife (Robin) has a great sense of humour!

Yeps I get mine to hang around 5500 rpm probably 3-5 times a day, unless I'm in one of my "Let'* see if I can get decent mileage" modes!

I'm like Turtle....in more ways than one (but not age!). My chip has raised my redline, too, so I guess I EXCEED the factory redline quite often.

hmmmm you should of had an option for once every few months. I hadn't floored mine for over 3 months until yesterday and that was only because my EGR valve got plugged up. (The LeSabre that is. The 95 has never been floored (yet.. ))
