Default how many amps is my alternator?

the car is a 95 se with the series II motor.. i need to no so i can possibly buy a bigger one for my music upgrade i will be doing? and can anyone recomend a good place to buy a upgraded alternator?

Your alternator is probably a 140 amp. Someone else may chime in on that. At least my 95 is a 140, but it'* supercharged and has extra goodies.

Look at Bonneville Gear and More. There'* a group buy about to be paid for on alternators.

Most SE iv seen are 105 like mine.

But i pretty sure there was a option to upgrade and/or you got it if you got power seats and like a sun roof.

RPO would be the best way.

According to the FSM even SSEi'* in later years were 125ish.
