my college has a welding department but im not sure if it related to sutomotive, they also have a collision repair center, i will consult the heads of those departments for more information, thanks markwb

Last year I saw a 95 Bronco Stretched out Suburban/Excursion style so anythings possible.

problem is, you dont have a frame. its multiple layers of shetmetal with bends engineered in the right spot to help add integrity, but the right amount of give not to be to stiff. and as posted, there is a TON of fabrication, somthing only huge companies can afford.

no college would even let you use there equipment to attempt this, because if the car snapped in half at 70mph killing or injuring people, that would basically be the end of that college.
