General GM Chat When starting new posts, please specify YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE type, and whatever modifications you have made. Chat about all things GM (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the Lounge, and all Model specific mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

Let'* keep this on topic with regards to your original question.

Feel free to start a new topic in the Lounge with regards to your FWD vs. RWD question.

We can move this to the lounge if you want to change topics, or you can start a new one there.

Let me repeat:

You should be EASILY capable of doing a FWD burnout in your car. And whether you can or can't isn't part of the FWD vs. RWD debate. Cars aren't judged by burnouts.

Find me an SSEi that can't do a burnout, and I'll show you an SSEi that needs maintenance.

I did get that, I was just saying I knew how to in a RWD and if the SSEi was RWD I wouldnt need to ask, thats all I meant.

I'm sure you're right, my car most likely does need a tuneup and once I get a job where I'm working more than 2 days a month I'll go find out everything thats wrong with it.
