Still offering my services as protection. Apparently when mine got into something like that when I was home, the insurance lady pretty much told me not to report it, and just pay out of pocket cause it would be cheaper on me.

WOW

Do they have to replace the bumper or are they just going to sand and repaint it?

Cuz if so, thats ALOT!

A very good body shop by me only wants like 600-800 to Cut out the rust on my moms Bronco and weld in new sheet metal and repaint it. thats way more work then yours.

sounds a little hight, but you have to realize Ryan there is often hidden damage, you would have to see the break down of the estimate befor you can judge it

hers the estimate sheet, from what i can tell they are
repairing the bumper cover,

replacing right modling,

replacing left molding,

replacing emblem (20$!) ,

replacing LKQ(?) left headlamp assembly +25%(??) ,

repairing the upper tie bar, and replacing flex additive (?),

then other stuff like aiming head lights, painting.

the charges:

body labor is 10.8 hours @ 45 dollars an hour

Paint labor is 5 hours @ 45 dollars an hour

Paint supplies is 5 hours @ 22 dollars an hour

Body Supplies is 6.3 hours @ 3.27 dollars an hour

LKQ is a big supplier of 'recycled' auto parts.
