Default poor design flaw

I just need to rant a little bit so... here it goes

Im a person who likes to crack the windows when I drive, and it has been driving me nuts that I cant open them when its raining, or even when I spray washer fluid because it runs right off the smaller window and onto my leather. I know I should get ventshades, but I hate the look and am also running low on cash....

poor design
More appropriate subject line imo. Welcome to modern technology. Cars at one time actually had rain channels along the roof lines above doors. Todays cars are designed to be more aerodynamic as every one knows. So, it'* not really poor design imo, it'* technology & design progressing.

As Mark mentions, it'* not only a bonneville issue. It'* an every car issue.

Have you considered using the venting system of the car to get fresh air?

Ventshades will not help with the windshield washer fluid through the window problem

Yeah, the would. The would route the drip about an inch or so from the cracked open window.

I just don't like the way all the Bonne vent shades follow only the open-able part of the window. It breaks the "flow" of the body, in my opinion...

Well, if you ask me your lucky. With my door closed and the windows up I still get wet due to water intrusion because of a bed weather seal. lol. Bonneville'* just like water it would seem. Their collective zodiac sign should be Aquarius, ... "The Water Bearer."

I'm sure the smoking doesn't help her carsickness either.

Just saying.

Sounds like the design flaw isn't the way the windows and exterior of the car is designed. Seems like the flaw is with your driving.

Drive good and maybe she won't get sick as easy.

Ooops, I was thinking about completely open windows Yes, if they are cracked about an inch open then it would. I just remember times when I had the windows open a litttle less than half way, and cleaned the windshield and the fluid still came in the window.

Does anyone know of they make the ventshades for the 92-99 models that are the smoother design, and that go up inside the window channel??
