Please do not use Mechanic Forum Sections for chit chat. That is what the Lounge and General Chat are for. As Mentioned in the title of each Mechanical Section.

You wont find anything in the forum as far as doing tinting yourself. I know they sell the stuff here and there, but a couple pointers. The material you buy at most parts stores in those little rolls are inferior material. Installing isnt as easy as it may seem or look. The slightest misalignment or miss cut makes the job look like crap. 99% of the people here have had tinting done at a shop. My state has laws but I've never been bothered. I have 50%/in on front sides, 20/in on the rear sides. and 5%/in on the rear window. Was about $200 for the premium film/installed.

If you want to see more of the VENOM, Just let me know. Welcome to a look at the most expensive Bonneville ever made. 5 separate coats of paint make this marbleized Blood Candy come alive, a 75/100 Shot Nitrous injected V8 NorthStar makes her fat azz move, sitting on variable all corner air suspension(bags/rear, airstruts/front).No Bonneville sits this close to the ground. It also has red laser lit machine gun nitrous purge across the windshield, 4 tube/96 color light kit, Alpine/Kicker SubWoofer system, and a hard wired 750 Watt inverter to power A/C goodies. And an occasional bikini clad girl laying across it. Name: ducks048.jpg

Well, My 97 is tinted 35% up front and 20% in the rear. (Check out my sig for a pic.) I think it looks good. (BTW, the state law is 35% in the front and no lower than 5% in the rear)
