No offence Boberle1150 but if the bonnevile is the worst car you have ever owned then why are you part of a bonneville loving car club, i suppose you have to learn how to fix things here but we all love bonneville here i think and i always will praise the bonneville for its awsome syling and performance for a full size car.

He is right...I have read many horror stories about bonnevilles plus mine is like new and hardley drivien and been to the dealer so many times for poor quality control issues asside form the fact that thier value drop quicker than any car I have owned including lincoln.

Anyway back on topic:

I smoked a Hemi pickup with my GXP so yeah I think an SSEi has a chance.

Well, if a GXP does, then an SSEi will certainly. The SSEi is quicker off the line.

Whether Hemi is a buzzword or not, they are some pretty powerful motors.

My brother'* LS2 GTO was neck and neck with a Charger SRT-8, if that says anything.

That'* saying a lot, considering the LS2 makes 400 hp and the 6.1L HEMI makes 425 hp, yet the Charger is a much bigger car. The first time I stood next to one, I was really suprised by how large it was.

Your Bonnie should be able to keep up with or slightly edge out a 300C with the 340hp hemi. The same motor in a truck? You'll leave him so quick it ain't funny.

I said I like the car and it is a great car to drive.....but only when it is running and has no problems. I just think GM should have made this car more reliable for being Pontiacs "flagship" sedan. Don't get me wrong, all car companies have thier problems, I have just never seen so many on any other car that I have owned. Would I be here if I hated the car completely? Would I even be driving one if I hated it so much? i don't think so. lol I have fun in the car, its safe, and everything else, just not reliable. Maybe I just got a bad one, like one made on Friday or something, who knows! And to be honest, I think it is kind of dumb to even be arguing about this anyways because the truck is made to do what it is supposed to do as well as the car is too. Its almost like racing a G-Wagon from Mercedes to a E-Class Sedan. They are meant to do completely different things. n/a white bonne, you say uneducated, but again, apparently it worked because they are selling a ton of those trucks. They had a idea, marketed it right, and it was a hit. Obviously the people that came up with it are not that uneducated or oxymorons eh? I can completely understand why you don't like HEMI'*, I hate Fords.......I don't care what it is, I hate em'. I just think its funny how Dodge has these ideas liek boxed frame and all in 2002, then Ford came along in 2004 with thiers and making it a little "bigger", along with the other junk they put the F-150'* together with! No one has yet to beat the power of the HEMI. Dodge used this to thier advantage and sells the vehicles this way. Wowo i am writing too much, sorry! have a great day everyone! lol
