Where in Mass, I'm in Enfield and have done this type of thing before. If you want to do it factory, then it'* not bad. If you want to do something along the lines of aftermarket it'* even easier.

Here'* how I added them on the 97 where no provisions were in place.

My 2000 ssei didn't come with heated seats. The dealer contacted a place that installs such things for dealers only. Since than, there are many aftermarket, DIY heated seat kits. IIRC, they also have heated seat kits for cloth seats. 99% of the time, heated seats are only an option on a vehicle with leather. The leather absorbs some of the heat, and the thickness prevents you from feeling the elements. It'* been a few years since I have searched, do an online search and you should come up with a few options. The seats need to have the upholstry taken off to the point you can get the elements in and wiring run.
