Default Heated Mirror Questions

What controls the heated mirror? Are they controlled by the Door Control Module? Can you plug one in and have it work if your car did not come equipped?

i think that they are activated by the rear defroster when i turn mine on the mirrors thaw and dry off dont see why you couldnt get a set out of the junk yard and wire them in to your rear defrost

The wiring might be there and all you need to do is to plug it in when you get one. If you have one, your drivers side exterior mirror will be etched with a couple of curvy waves.
