Haynes Manuals adequate for most repairs?
I know this was said already, however, in my humble opinion, haynes manuals SUCK ROYALY. Some years ago they invaded part stores overnight, and the shelves were cleared of chilton stuff. I purchased one once. It had duplicates of 8 or 10 pages, and was missing the 8 or 10 pages that the duplicates were on. I took it back and looked at the only other 2 on the counter and they were the same. They are stingy about Technical info, unlike chilton'*. They are ok for genral maintenace and repairs but thats it...
THanks for all the feedback guys, I just added a higher quality manual to my wish list, the Haynes was falling apart anyways, and yes I have found errors in it, so its full of my notes and corrections as well.
