Default Had vacuum modulator changed today...

So I had my mechanic change out my vacuum modulator while he did the brake fluid, I had noticed since I got the car my 1-2 shift was kinda harsh as times. He suggested the Modulator..part was only $15 lol..and guess what, the car shifts like brand new!!! What a cheap fix Gotta love it when $15 fixes such an issue.

You know you can also adjust it. Pull the tube off and turn it with a flat head screw driver to make it smoother or harsher

you want to feel the shift, if you dont, that means the clutches are slipping more and will where out faster.

Which way do I turn for a more harsh shift? Clockwise or Counter-Clockwise?

IF it'* adjustable, clockwise (standing at the front) is harsher. Don't go too harsh though. Small adjustments over time are best.

Get a mirror and flashlight, and look inside the vacuum port. Do you see a slot inside for a screwdriver?

I'm guessing that is what the flashlight is for.
