Default GXP 1/4 mile @ 14.30

I was looking around putfile and found a stock GXP pulling a 14.30 in the 1/4 and kicking a Firechickens butt at the same time. The announcer thought it was maybe a GP? ROFL! You can here the Northstar growl down the track. Shows what the GXP can do if an experienced FWD driver is behind the wheel. TSIs GXP - Putfile.com

No low end torque? Hmmmmm. Maybe if ya'* take out the TC, things move along a little better. I like the guy to the right'* "No F'in way" !

Was the firebird asleep? The bonneville had him from the start.

Ya, it looked like he got a bad start, + the GXP had a nice launch, and hooked the front wheels quick.

LOL! I've seen that vid before and wondered what country that was in where a jet could get away with that.

That is a F/A-18E Super Hornet or "Rhino". The reason for the steam around the jet is because he is just about to brake the sound barrier under a 10,000 foot ceiling. I am a jethead and I love jets...nothing compares. I know for a fact that that is a US jet just by the markings and also this happens all the time, fly-by'* that is. My family was out on the lake in Tennessee and we were buzzed. Its probably some young pilot getting is wings for the first time. You can research more on the "your tubes" of the internet about fly-by'*.
