yea the whole sizing makes sense now. I am going to give them a try. If they suck then i will just put them on ebay or something. But for free it doesnt hurt to give them a try. But if they hook up off the line then the raise in gearing should help my 1/4 mile some. Upping the gearing from 3.06 to 3.24 should be good for atleast a tenth correct?

Depends... don't forget that the shorter gear will top out quicker too. IE , you'll be in the higher RPM range but have a lower speed for it as well as being off (further up the scale) in the HP and Torque output

Can you guys tell me if these tires would be better. They are drag radials, BF goodrich Scorcher TA'*. Size 215-40-r17. I know that they are 17'* but they are on rims that would fit on my car. My mechanic has them for sale for 50 dollars for 3 of them on rims. Give me some input

I am calm and that is what i meant. Just it is a pretty decent deal and the guy doesnt hold onto things long and i am trying to see if it is a good deal and if i will see benefits.
