Is this a good priice for some minor work on my exhaust?
I need a new cat converter, muffler, some type of O ring (I forgot the name) and new chrome exhaust tips for $315

Price doesn't sound bad...actually, sounds pretty good if that includes labor.
Are you referring to the donut that goes between the down-pipe and the exhaust manifold?

It would probably be worth spending the money on a high-flow cat, if you're interested in the performance increase. Also DEFINITELY go for stainless tips over chrome. Those chromies will rust up within a year, unless you polish them all the time.
