General GM Chat When starting new posts, please specify YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE type, and whatever modifications you have made. Chat about all things GM (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the Lounge, and all Model specific mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

at 268,000 I've never done it. I had to top it off a little while ago for some reason. Doesn't leak that I can tell. Didn't take much, maybe a couple ounces. I got a weird feeling when turning a corner once, checked the fliud and it was down a little, toped it off, good to go.

Because I know there is nothing serious wrong with my steering and if there is, I don't really want to think about it unless it could be a worse thing than I think?

I was only curious to know about the power steering system, because my friend asked me and I said I honestly did not know, and so I figured some of you would know.

Getting back to my issue, does this sound really bad? Should I start a new topic in 87-91?

If you have a problem with your car, post it in 87-91 please. You should have done that in the first place. We don't discuss mechanical issues in General Chat. You should know that by now.
