Gold Edition Bonneville

My first Bonneville was Black with the gold trim and wheels, but grey Interior. Not sure what the Resurrection has for trim, but it is color matched 12 slot with grey interior.
I could see with the trim how it could get confused with it having a gold package. If you see one badged again, I would look for other cars with gold packages and see if it is the same badge... then you'd know where the "Gold Package" came from.

so no gold edition, but a gold stripping package
There was not a gold edition Bonneville located for 1992-1995
what was found;
In 1992, the SSE /SSEI had an ornamentation option called the gold
striping package. The striping was gold accent-and in addition gold name
plates could be ordered for the SSE.
Starting October 1992, a sport luxury edition package (ORDER OPTION
CODE HRU) became available for Bonneville 1992 through 1995. It included
the choice of either 16 inch silver or gold aluminum cross lace wheels.
There was no other reference to a gold edition Bonneville located.

I've only seen the gold striping on SE'*, and quite a few, particularly on green. The gold badges were standard on Green SSE'* and SSEi'*.
As stated, the 'gold edition' badges are a dealer or owner add.
