If I sell it myself which is not an option. I have nothing to drive once I sell it and I can't buy anything until I sell it, so a trade is really my only option.

I would sell it private party instead of trading it in. For my 92 the trade in value was $900 and then I just sold the car private party for $2,900 so that might be the best thing to do. By the way I just bought a 99 SSEi and I love it. Good Luck with it.

Thanks, I just talked to my mom and she said that "we'll talk" about the car (which is usually good) because she'll be loaning me the additional after my trade + $1,500 I have.
I'm seriously stoked, I hope this happens.

Vig...only remove the visible items. No one would know the difference in a pcm. You merely need to pull it out before selling.
On this new car. Don't get overzealous like I tend to....relax..look it over...let it run and get to the fans turning on while looking at it. Give it a serious look over since you know what to look for ...

Well I just finished replacing the stock PCM and intake (too late boosty =/). Unfortunately, I threw away my stock accordian tube and had to adapt the coupler from my intense intake kit and seal off the small section it didnt cover with duct tape (ghetto). I'm gonna get a stock accordian tube tonight at work (hopefully find one and not have to order).
Can anybody give suggestions on haggling prices down with dealers?
so far I'm going to use:
1) It'* been in an accident (although no frame or powertrain damage was done)
2) I have to get it inspected in MD which is much harder to pass in than VA.
3) I'm going to have to tag it in MD.
4) I'm going to offer them $6,000 right off the bat and see where it goes, I'm not going to pay above $7,000.
<3 my mommy for loaning me the G'*
