The new cat is in!!!!
The car has way more throttle response, torque, and the 0-60mph feels more like 0-90mph!!!!

I will let everyone know if the new cat improves gas mileage!

also, you should check your tire pressure b/c i've heard that can play a role in mileage.

During the week for commuting, my cars:

Zilla: 12mpg

SLEeper: 22mpg

On the freeway:

Zilla: 32mpg

SLEeper: 31mpg

No ethanol here until May 1st, then it hits us in small percentages.

We are running 10% ethanol in CT all year. No way around it. Its a known fact that ethanol is 30% less efficient.
You folks without ethanol rock. I want to move.

On our most recent trip to FL in the GS (with 110K miles)...4 people, enough luggage for 12 people and doing 80-85 the whole way, we got 28.6 MPG according to the DIC.

In the city we get ~25 MPG.

I get about 18-19 in the city when delivering pizza. Lots of idling. A tuneup (TR55 plugs, Autolite wires, Purolator PCV) didn't change this number at all. Just made the car quicker to accelerate.

I mainly use Shell or Quicktrip.
I think all stations in the area use 10% ethanol on pumps.

I prefer to use premium.

Since I put the converter on I am getting 24mpg combined. I am hoping the cold air intake and possible a CPU upgrade will help.
