*yawn* I got over not having a HUD really quickly. With all the idiot displays on the center stack, and the DIC readouts between the speedo and the tach, is a HUD really necessary? If you get the OE nav system, I think thats enough visual distraction.

I don't hate the HUD, I just think its one of those 90'* things you can get over easily.

For me, not only is the hud really nice at night but its also one of those things that sets bonnies and a few other cars apart from the rest. Its fun to brag about it too. :P

<--- Not a fan of the G8. IMO, it'* pretty ugly, with the typical GM style queues: big, chunky plastic--especially in the interior. :?

i just looked up the engines...theres a 3.6L V-6 or a 6.0L V-8

I've read base level G8s will have solid red taillight lenses.
