Default Fuel Filter information

Can anyone tell me about the fuel filters on a 1992 SSE Bonneville. I recently had the fuel pump replaced but I am unsure if the filters were changed. Can someone let me know where they are and part numbers if any ?

Is there one under the passenger side front of the car ?

Thanks,

Thank you Sir

I just purchased a filter from PartsAmerica.com, its a Purolator F64702 FUEL FILTER. Will that one be ok you think ?

Its the one that they pulled up. They also gave me a choice of a Fram one and after reading about Fram, I didnt want one of those.

Cheers,

Puralator is the one I put in mine and it worked great. Make sure you pull the fuel pump fuse, crank it and depressurize the system before you undo the fittings, unless you like getting covered with gas.

Dunno - I am using the filter change as part of my precise shotgun approach for my missing/stuttering problem.

If I throw enough stuff at the car, somethings gonna fix it !

Next thing I throw will be a grenade

Default Fuel gauge problem

:( I have recently changed my fuel filter and now just recently my gas gauge has been acting up.The probelm is when she goes above half a tank she'* fine ,then when she goes down around half to quarter tank she goes all the way up to full,I ran out of gas yesterday :o ,a couple blocks from my house ,thinking she was pretty damn full(wifey drives the car now and againso i wasnt sure if she put gas in or not)but low and behold she was empty.Cool thing though ,after she stalled out i sat there for about 5 mins and turned her over and she made it to the nearest gas station .Anybody know what the problem could be? :? Oh ya and because whoever started the digital camera posts i have a 550$ charge from best buy on my mastercard :o .sony baby,I got the lower end p52 .nice unit just gotta figure out how to use it!
