Default Illuminating -Easy ID Fuses?

I guess Cooper Bussmann (easy id) is one company that has the fuses that illuminates when blown.

Any other manufacturers that come to mind or are they it?

Wouldn't it be great if auto makers used these in the first place?

I would rather them light up when they had power going through them. Imagine the pretty colors when you popped the fuse panel off.

it would be more difficult, leds ground through the load in normal ones, there would be no difference in voltage of a circuit thats powered. you would have to have a third pin for ground. and the oems use the cheapest things possible for stock stuff, but i agree it would be nice for people to just glance in and if there is a light there is a problem

Not to be the monkey throwing a wrench in your plan, but wouldn't that mean constant power draw?

If using surface mount nano or pico LED'* at 5mA, or .05A, 30 fuses would only pull 1.5A. Now, only 10 of those fuses constantly have power going through them until the key is turned. Then all the fuses have power through them. The typical car battery is between 600-800A. It would take a few days for those LED'* to kill a battery.

One thing worth noting is some modules may not like led on the same power circuit. Seen one vehicle had a weird issues with communications using leds in the same circuits of a vehicle. Changes the resistance value of the circuit.
