Default Front Wheel Well Part #*

The front well appears to be made up of a couple of different parts. The part the wraps around the front of the well, and attaches to the splash shield underneath is broken on both sides. Don't know how it got that way...was there when I bought it. Anyone know the part numbers for these, and maybe the little push in plastic pins? It'* for my 2000 SSEi Thanks.

Wheelhouse Panels: (from GMPartsDirect.com under 'Catalog', 2000 Pontiac Bonneville, 'Body', 'Front Body', 'Wheelhouse Panel')...

Panel Assy, Frt Whlhse R 12482071
Panel Assy, Frt Whlhse L 12482072
Prices for the above 2: GM List $157.34 - GMPD.com $92.83
Panel, Frt Whlhse R 25697420
Panel, Frt Whlhse L 25697421
Prices for the above 2: GM List $109.60 - GMPD.com $64.67

I'm not sure which one is the one that you'll need. I would think that it would be the lower 2, but I'm not sure. I had to have the same things replaced on mine right after I bought it, but it was covered under the 90 day NYS lemon law warranty. Let me see if I can find the paperwork with the p/n'* on it.

Can you take pics of it, while pointing to it? I can confirm the numbers for all the parts. I have the illustrations to go with the numbers.

UPDATE: Just found the paperwork from when they did the repair. The splash sheilds aren't part of the wheelhouse... They are called extensions and are in the bumper section. P/Ns are 25695502 for R & 25695503 for L & prices are $27.54 list - GMPD.com $16.25. The retainers should be available from the dealership for cheaper than what you'd pay from GMPD.com + shipping. Hell, the splash shields are probably cheaper from the dealer than they are from GMPD.com + shipping.

Just a side note, but those numbers for the extension pieces are for the SLE & SSEi'* from 00-03 as listed from GMPD.com. I don't know if they changed for the 04-05'* or not. The extensions for the SE are p/n 25695500 R & 25695501 L and are priced the same.

**EDIT: When mine were broke, they were the panels as circled in this pic:

Thanks...I think we may be talking about the same thing - but I'll take a picture of it tomorrow to be certain.

I took some pictures of the broken part. It would have given a better view if I had the time to remove the tire. Hopefully, these will give a good enough view. If not...I'll get some others taken later. Thanks a lot for your help!

Great! Thanks a lot for the information. Sounds like time for a trip to the dealer.
